OUR
SERVICES
NLSI is a full-service sports marketing and management agency. From talent identification to professional contract closure — we own the full athlete journey across eight commercial service verticals.
ALL EIGHT
SERVICE VERTICALS
Athlete Representation & Management
Full-career management covering contract negotiation, brand alignment, image rights, and long-term career strategy for elite and emerging Nigerian athletes.
Request This ServiceWe act as the primary interface between an athlete and every commercial, legal, and strategic decision that shapes their career. From the moment talent is identified to the signing of their first professional contract — and well beyond — NLSI manages the full scope of an athlete's professional life. Our representation team handles contract negotiation with clubs and federations, image rights protection, commercial endorsement approval, and long-term financial and career planning. We do not just react to opportunities — we create them through a proactive network of club contacts, agents, and federation relationships built over 35 years. Every athlete on our roster receives a dedicated management plan, an assigned relationship manager, and quarterly strategic reviews to ensure their career trajectory is on course.
Brand & Sponsorship Partnerships
We identify, pitch, and close sponsorship and endorsement deals between athletes, clubs, and blue-chip brands seeking authentic sports marketing in Nigeria.
Request This ServiceNigeria's sports market is one of the most commercially underserved on the continent — and one of the most commercially valuable. NLSI bridges that gap by connecting athletes and sporting organisations with brands that want authentic, credible association with Nigerian sport. Our commercial team manages the full sponsorship lifecycle: identifying brand fit, structuring commercial proposals, negotiating terms, and activating deals in ways that generate real value for both parties. We work across sectors — consumer goods, telecommunications, financial services, energy, and lifestyle brands. We also advise sponsors on market entry and activation strategy, ensuring that partnerships land effectively with Nigerian audiences and deliver measurable commercial return.
Event Production & Tournament Management
End-to-end delivery of sporting events from grassroots community tournaments to elite invitational competitions, including logistics, media, and security.
Request This ServiceNLSI has designed, produced, and managed sporting events ranging from 200-person community trials to multi-day invitational competitions with national media coverage. Our events team brings the discipline of professional sports management to every scale of activation. We handle venue procurement and infrastructure, athlete logistics and accreditation, broadcast and media coordination, security and crowd management, official and referee administration, and post-event reporting. Our project management framework ensures that every event is delivered on time, on budget, and to a standard that reflects positively on every associated brand and institution. For sponsors and government partners, our events also serve as credible visibility platforms — with media coverage, social activation, and live attendance that translates directly into commercial value.
Media, PR & Digital Strategy
Strategic communications, social media management, press releases, and broadcast rights negotiation that builds the public profile of athletes and the organisation.
Request This ServiceA career in sport is inseparable from public profile. The athletes who command the highest commercial value are not always the most talented — they are the ones with the most strategically built public presence. NLSI's communications team ensures that every athlete and institutional partner controls their narrative. We manage media relations with national and international sports press, produce editorial content and press releases, coordinate broadcast and digital rights negotiations, and manage social media strategy across all major platforms. Our PR work extends to crisis communications, reputation management, and strategic silence — knowing when not to engage is as important as knowing when to. For institutional clients and federations, we provide full communications programme design including stakeholder messaging, government relations support, and public affairs strategy.
Grassroots Scouting Network
A nationwide network of accredited scouts operating across schools, local leagues, and open trials to surface talent that traditional academies consistently overlook.
Request This ServiceNigeria produces athletic talent at a rate the formal system cannot absorb. Schools, community pitches, local league games, and street sport are producing future professionals daily — but without the infrastructure to identify and route that talent into development pathways, it goes nowhere. NLSI's scouting network deploys accredited scouts across all 36 states and the FCT, operating inside schools, local government sports councils, open trials, and grassroots competitions. Every assessed athlete is entered into NLSI's talent database with biometric data, video footage, performance metrics, and a development recommendation. Athletes flagged for further development are invited into NLSI's pipeline — and depending on their profile, may be referred for academy placement, international trials, or direct professional representation within weeks.
Sponsorship Consulting & Deal Structuring
Advisory services for clubs, state federations, and individuals seeking to attract, structure, and retain commercial sponsorship in the Nigerian and pan-African markets.
Request This ServiceMost Nigerian sporting organisations are sitting on significant commercial value they have never been able to monetise. The gap is rarely in the asset — it is in the commercial capability to present, price, and deliver that asset to sponsors. NLSI's advisory practice works with clubs, state sports councils, federations, and individual athletes to assess commercial inventory, develop sponsorship propositions, price and package those propositions for market, and support active deal pursuit. We have transacted across a wide range of asset classes: shirt sponsorship, naming rights, stadium signage, broadcast integrations, social media partnerships, and player endorsements. We also advise existing sponsors on optimising activation and renewing commercial relationships, ensuring that clients retain value over time rather than cycling through single-year transactional agreements.
Sports Academy Development
Feasibility studies, curriculum design, staffing frameworks, and operational playbooks for establishing world-standard sports academies across Nigeria.
Request This ServiceBuilding a credible sports academy is one of the highest-leverage investments available to state governments, corporate sponsors, and private investors in Nigerian sport — and one of the most frequently mismanaged. The difference between an academy that produces professionals and one that consumes capital is almost entirely in the design and governance of the programme, not the facility. NLSI's academy development practice provides the full design and establishment support needed to build an institution that works: feasibility and site studies, programme curriculum aligned to international standards, coaching staff specification and recruitment, athlete welfare and safeguarding frameworks, commercial sustainability models, and operational governance documents. We also provide ongoing advisory services to operating academies seeking to achieve CAF or NFF accreditation, improve athlete outcomes, or scale their commercial revenue.
International Placement & Trials
Coordinating international trials, agent introductions, and direct placement conversations with clubs and academies in Europe, the Gulf, and North America.
Request This ServiceNLSI maintains active working relationships with professional clubs, academies, and licensed agents across Europe, the Gulf states, and North America. These are not cold contacts — they are relationships built through years of successful placement, mutual trust, and verified delivery. For qualified athletes in our pipeline, we coordinate international trial arrangements, manage travel and accommodation logistics, prepare the athlete presentation materials that clubs expect, and facilitate the introductory and negotiation conversations with clubs and their representatives. Where appropriate, we introduce athletes to licensed agents in target markets who can provide local representation. In 2024 alone, NLSI facilitated 12 international placements across seven countries. Our placement success rate is a direct function of the quality of preparation we bring to each conversation — and the credibility we carry into every room.
